About meProgrammer by profession, accountant by education, historian by avocation

About my libraryIf a book is about a ship (warship or ocean liner) or an aircraft, heavier-than air (I prefer 'burning (jet) to turning (propeller)') or lighter-than-air, I'll buy it or at least add it to my to-buy list. History is also a weakness especially the American Civil War, the Byzantine Empire, the Middle East and modern (post-nineteenth century) naval warfare.

I did read science fiction more but have gotten out of the habit.

Hi Surly

Thank you for the welcome

Only done a couple of shelves, some dozen or so to go, but along ways behind yourself.

Used to life west of Cleveland OH, a couple of years ago, so we were almost neighbours lol

Kind Regards

Andy
Holy Crap! Is this the vaunted 3rd title in the series we've been waiting for!?! Excellent! You da man for sending the heads up! Going to put it in my next batch for ordering.
Well, I was thinking about it. But I already Have Chair's 'Golden Carpet' and Dudgeon 'Hidden Victory', so I might give it a miss. Unless I find a good used copy.
Hello,

This is about the 'Series' identifications for the Essential Identification Guides (for Aircraft, Car, Submarine, Tank and Vehicle), by Amber Books. I am new to the 'Series' concept. I don't want to adversely affect anyone else. I have made some changes to the 'Series', under 'Common Knowledge' for some of my books. I may have affected your data. The series is 'Amber Books - Essential Identification Guides'. I have place the type (aircraft, vehicle, etc.) in the sequence area.

Please let me know your thoughts. I am very willing to make any changes needed.

This is being sent to members 'mayreh' and 'surly',

Terry
It's more like an obsession! :) Thanks for having me on board; I'm enjoying the chance to dig through my collection.
