If you put square brackets around the title like this: [Robinson Crusoe] and double square brackets around the author's name like this: [[Daniel Defoe]], LT will highlight them and also provide a running list of both work and author's on the side of your thread.

In order to start your own thread in the 75 Books Challenge, click on the 'Post a New Topic' button. You can then name your topic - since it will be your thread, you can call it anything you like, but I do suggest putting your own name in it somewhere - and begin listing either books you want to read this year, or books you have already read, or simply introducing yourself to the group.
For the ticker, go to www.tickerfactory.com and follow the onscreen instructions. It is fairly simple to do.

You can give half stars by clicking on a star twice. To give 3 1/2 stars, click on the fourth star twice. The fourth star will then go from a full star to half of one. It took me a while to figure it out, now I use it all the time.
