About my libraryEclectic...as my interests are, these days.

The collection '3651' represents books I somehow have a stake in that are at my parents' house. 'In Storage' is fairly self explanatory, while 'My Library' only includes books that are relatively accessible to me at this moment in time – on my bookshelves, mostly.

I've just joined bookcrossing, so BCIDs are likely to become more of a fixture in coming months. Otherwise, I'm using the comments field to keep track of where books come from or have gone. If you see anything you'd like to beg, borrow, or steal – or any wishlisted items you'd like to pass on – please leave me a message.

Oh, and check out my Librarything timeline here.

Noticed you liked Clockwork Orange, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a group of violent kids (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Thanks, should have thought to google!
monarchi on a thread you mentioned Daunt Books in London. I might be heading into London tomorrow, could you let me know where I could find Daunt Books?! Sounds great!
Monarchi--

Just came across your library -- I'm originally from Chicago and share some
books with you as well as the Feminist Group. This may not be the best time to suggest book titles to you since you are moving and I take it you are getting rid of some, but I thought you might be interested in the following books on women and design:

1. Building Domestic Liberty: Charlotte Perkins Gilman's Architectural Feminism

2. New Households New Housing (check my library for a more complete citation)

3. People and Buildings ISBN 0465054560

4.Redesigning the American Dream HD7293.H39

5.Women Who Marry Houses: Panic and protest in Agoraphobia RC535.S45

I.m sort of in a rush, so feel free to browse my library for more.

Good luck in the move.

I absolutely loved "my Traitor's Heart". I hope you like it too.

Beth
Got the book, thanks a million - will send you a check for the shipping soon! Is the return address good for that?

Kris
The books you sent me arrived yesterday afternoon, and in lovely condition. Thanks so much! I'll send you the postage ASAP.

Thanks!

Kris
PS - I've just got back from a weekend away and gone through my post. Love Marriage has already arrived! thank you so much.
thanks. I'll be up in Oxford next weekend, but I'll resist the temptation to pop a copy through the door (although maybe whoever is living there now would like to read it too...)
I don't mind - I'm happy to send you a paper copy in September, but if it's too much hassle for you that's not a problem at all - you must have so much going on preparing for your move!
it's actually an audio book - but I'd be happy to get you a copy of the book and send it to you, if you like - I really really like it.
I shipped your books this a.m., I hope you enjoy them. I really liked "my Traitor's Heart" as it was a little different perspective on South Africa.

Beth
PayPal would be fine - just send me your email or the information and I'll take care of it.

Thanks! Lisa
You have a fascinating collection. Did anyone suggest you set up an account on BookMooch to send out your books? That way you would get points to use in the future (after your move if you like) to get books you do want. Just an idea to throw out there. Enjoy your books and your plans.
I got the book today! Thank you. The check is on the way! Thanks again.
Thanks for mailing so quickly. I'm out of town for a couple of days for a graduation but will mail midweek. I assume the postage will be about the same.

I have no current plans to go to Sri Lanka but plan to eventually.

I'll let you know when I mail.

Beth
Thanks again!
Ohh, you have some really interesting looking books but you probably don't want to have to ship them to the UK! Woe! Ah well. Oxford is lovely though, I grew up there. The Norrington Room in Blackwell's on Broad Street has to be one of your first stops. So many books!

What are you doing in Oxford when you get there? Studying?
Ooh, I'd love Love Marriage. Would you be able to send to the UK?
I would love your copy of Self Made Man: One Woman's Year Disguised As a Man by Norah Vincent. How do we proceed?
Has anyone claimed Will in the World, yet? Like mcna asked, how are you interested in making a transaction?
Hi

There are a couple of books I'd love to snag especially the Biko biography, the Spanish language related, and the travel books. Are you interested in trading or collecting for postage, or??

Thanks
