About meI am the mother of three children, 2 daughters and a boy in the arms of Jesus. I homeschooled for several years but both girls have decided to go back to public schooling this year.
As you can tell by my library my hobbies are quilting, sewing, cooking, gardening and of course reading!
About my libraryI probably have about 90 percent of my library done. There are still a few more books here in there scattered around the house that I haven't done. The craft, sewing, quilting and cookbooks are mine. The science fiction, western, theology, electronics, computer, military history, and World War 2 belong to my husband. The childrens books belonged to my daughters.
I rarely pay retail price for a book. I find a lot of my books used at library sales, charity book sales, thrift stores, yard sales, half.com and ebay. When I do purchase new I try to find the best deals by using online sites such as fetch.com which will search out the cheapest price.
I am trying to streamline my library a little to make room for new books by selling on half.com, amazon.com and occasionally ebay but it seems I buy as much as I sell. As I said it is hard for me to resist a 25 cent book and I've been pretty lucky in that regard.
