I received "Have You Found Her" as an Early Reviewer book a while ago, but my grad school studies and junior high librarian job kept me from reading it until this summer. I really enjoyed the book, and I don't usually like memoirs that much. I plan to read your first book soon, and I will be on the lookout for your future books.
Hello! I received 'Have You Found Her' as an early reviewer and finished 'GirlBomb' last week. Being a HUGE memoir fan I was excited about reading your books, and I wasn't disappointed! Both of your books were touching, gritty, and inspiring. I'm normally critical of memoirs with a lot of reconstructed dialogs, but yours flowed so well I often forgot I wasn't reading a novel. While 'GirlBomb'was a wonderful read, I must say that 'Have You Found Her' was most certainly my favorite of the two. Personally, I felt a lot more emotional pull with that book then with 'GirlBomb'. Brava to you, and good luck in the future!

Got my copy of GirlBomb yesterday and was excited as a child at Christmas! :) Thank you for giving the publisher a push! Loved your ER book "Have You Found Her"! Best book I have read in a while! I was so irritated to read a not-so-great review of it in (I think it was) Entertainment Weekly or either More Magazine. Whichever one it was (gave it a C, I think) I will not be seeking out their recommendations anymore. I have read a lot of bad books based on some magazines' recommendations, and I think it must be one of these! Anyway, way to go! Keep up the good work! :)

Welcome aboard, Janice!
Hi Janice,
I hesitated a bit to write part of the review. I didn't want to offend but that was the feeling I got from the book-the self fulfillment part. I really enjoy when the authors come around here. It is fun to "meet" you. Thank you for contacting me and thank you for reading our blog. Keep reading and watching-we hope to be heading over there in a year or so.
