About my libraryLimited by the confines of a city-sized apartment, but we pack as much in as we can. Our library* is full of media studies, gender studies, and cultural American history books. In my not so copious free time, I'm getting back into reading fiction (and am taking suggestions)! I just realized that I've been unconsciously been working my way through Booker Prize winners...
*This LT account is a combined library with my wife and son. Separating out whose books are whose would be more trouble than it's worth. Plus we like to share.

I thought I only had 2 but wasn't certain.
I'm still working on the Committed to the Sane Asylum, in the last chapter at the moment.

Is there a way to look back at the original description on the Giveaway page, that made me request it (specifically to see whether the author asked for a review)? I can look at earlier Early Reviewers batches but can't see a way to view earlier Member Giveaways.
Thanx

Thanks.

Beautiful baby you have!
I just posted my review of "The Cellist of Sarajevo," and the date stamp was December 31, 1969. Thought you'd like to know.
Thanks.

My husband is an engineer so he prepared the code for me and it worked. I had it up for a few weeks. But when you did changes last week, it disappeared. Now when I try to put it back, and then save it, the code dissappears.
Any ideas?
Are you not allowing those things any more??

I still haven't received my copy.
I didn't want you to think I hadn't reviewed it.
I'll post the review as soon as it comes in.
Thank you

Just wanted to send a note re:Early Reviewers. So worth the wait,I was notified that I was getting one and I am so happy with it! Very pleased and can't wait. I have been reviewing books in general on here a bit more. It provides a sort of closure. And bless you for letting us contact you this way, Mary Beth

I just recieved my notice that I snagged an ER book. Yay!
I just noticed that my former address is on my ER account, therefore I added my new address. Have the publishers already been given the shipping addresses for the February ER selections? The post office has my new address but they have not been very reliable.
Thanks so much!

I have a renewed interest in LG due to the horrid (13degrees) weather here. I was bored & perused my lost generation books where I came upon "Found Meals of the Lost Generation", by Suzanne Rodriguez-Hunter. When I purchased the book, I must admit I looked at the recipes & ignored the accompanying text. In reading it through, I am finding it a delight. Neat little thumbnail sketches of the time with recipes for foods they served/may have served in Paris. The book is dotted with post-its & my Amazon cart has some new things to read, e.g., "Nightwood" by Djuna Barnes.
Am looking forward to some news from our members as to what new relevant books you've read or really, anything to do with the time. Thanks, Judie
