Ere You Lie Down to Sleep

Ere you lie down to sleep in the night, sit still awhile, and nurse again to life your gentler self.

Thanks for the response. I got bogged down and needed a bit of support to continue my reading of it. I thought someone who liked Pynchon could give objectivity to the effort. Your thoughts are appreciated. As you say, it is a remarkable alternate reality. Happy holidays.
