About meI'm Australian writer currently based in Fiji. I've been finding a lot of inspiration here for my stories, and we love getting to know another country.
We have one cat called Fat Tuesday (because she is fat and showed up on a Tuesday). In Fijian, her name is Tusiti Levu. She's lived with Australians here for about ten years, so we are the fourth family to look after her.
My kids love books as much as I do, which is wonderful. A love of reading means you will never be bored so long as you have a book or two near by.
About my libraryMost of my libary (about 3000 books) is in storage in Australia at the moment. I miss it terribly, but couldn't justify moving all those books to Fiji just for three years! I love LibraryThing because I can look at the titles of my books, at least.
I've added to my library a little bit while being here in Fiji. There are not many good bookshops. The ones we have are mostly remainders, and very expensive. You can find odd piles of second-hand books in odd places such as clothing shops.
