About meMaterials scientist by day, fiction writer by night. I mostly write cross-genre sf/romance, and it's mostly gay romance. Yes, it's original character slash...
I'm a member of the LibraryThing Early Reviewers blog circle -- my main blog is on Livejournal, but you can also find my book and DVD reviews mirrored on my book-orientated Wordpress blog, along with my LTER blogroll.
About my libraryI've been an sf fan as far back as I can remember (literally), and my fiction library is heavily weighted towards sf&f. There's a fair bit of mystery as well, and a scarily large number of Folio Society books of all genres. I write cross-genre romance, so those are in the mix as well. The latter are mostly ARCs, because I get sent things to blurb. :-)

Good to hear from you. But frankly, I think LibraryThing is the last thing Chaz needs! I want him to spend his time writing books, not cataloguing them! In between making chutney, posting on LJ and maybe coming out to play, occasionally, obviously...

There are so many things of which I am perhaps blissfully unaware.

Though...I hadn't been back in for awhile to update, so am just now seeing your comment! Saw your LJ post about the Gor books. I didn't want to comment on the discussion trail (little intimidated)...I guess those books I just took as a bit of fantasy fun reading..you sure did kick off a great conversation trail. Same thing happened to me when I read the Dune books...people started comparing the social/economic ramifications of the society, and I guess I just sorta stuttered and said, um, yeah, I was in it for the adventure. shallow of me I guess? but that's why I liked reading your LJ, makes me think beyond my limited realm.
